STEEL SAFETY BARRIERS - SSB
Road guardrails and safety barriers are installed along the edges of roads and are used to increase road safety. They are most frequently used on motorways and dangerous sections of other roads.
Steel safety barriers differ according to the type of barrier (N and H), the surface width (W) and the manner of installation, which influences the stability of the barrier and consequently road safety.
Due to the growing numbers of motorcyclists on the roads and the increasing number of serious traffic accidents, motorcycle barriers are often added below the guardrail to prevent the motorcyclist slipping under the barrier in the event of a fall.

WOODEN SAFETY BARRIERS - WSB
Wooden safety barriers are mainly installed on roads where classic steel safety barriers are avoided for environmental or aesthetic reasons. WSB are essentially steel barriers covered in wood, which has been treated to guarantee a durability of at least 10 years. We currently offer two types of wooden safety barriers:
-CIDNEO retaining level N2W4. This barrier is made entirely of steel and is hot-dip galvanised. Deep-treated Scandinavian lumber is used for the wooden parts. An additional rail for pedestrians can be added to the barrier.
-TERTU retaining levels N2W5 and N2W7. This barrier is made of steel and is hot-dip galvanised. The wooden parts are protected in accordance with the DIN 68800 and UNI 8859 European standards.
Certification for both types of barriers has been acquired in accordance with the strict European EN 1317 standard.
